Sire reported to be German Wirehaired Pointer and German Wirehaired Griffon. Dam reported to be German Wirehaired Pointer and Drathaar. Neither are registered but obviously purebred. We were told that having the Griffon in the breeding helped with reduction of purebred genetic predisposition of disease. Not sure if it is true but the breeder we got the male from has been breeding this cross for a few years and had no problems. We understand they can be registered with Sporting Dog and Versatile Dog registry. They are Natural hunters. We are not breeders but wanted one litter to share with friends and to keep one for ourselves. Everyone who meets our dogs wants one, but only a few had the knowledge and ability to take one. Our male and female are not only loyal but incredibly intelligent. We have five of the 11 litter mates left and our only concern has been that they go to homes where their breed is understood and appreciated. They don't shed, their coats dry quickly and we have found no health problems.

We are proud to announce and accepting deposits for the recent breeding between Lester vom Sudland and Annie Get your Guns Foster. The goals of the pairing are to produce highly biddable and early starting pups.
Annie's background has Radbach, Grief, Hustler, Bourbon and Fisherheim. Lester brings heavy line bred Hege-Haus with some Pottsiepen on the top and a Bichtelwald and Wasserschling bottom half.
As expected with some Pottsiepen dogs, the sire is black roan and the dam is liver roan.
Annie's first litter produced highly driven yet biddable dogs. Lestor is experienced as a sire and has sired AKC FC/AFC and himself has been campaigned in the UFTA, won numerous Chukar challenges. Annie completed her JH and Lester has 3 passes toward his SH.
Both of these dogs are house dogs and a main goal of the breeding is to produce a great in the home shorthair that has the drive and nose to be honest on wild birds. 3 of 4 of Lester's grandparents are KS winners and his 5 generation pedigree has 28 KS winners out of 62 possible.
